Evolution Aluminum is the world's first and only tapered aluminum hydrofoil mast, offering the performance of high modulus carbon at less than half the price. The proprietary welded assembly eliminates loose hardware and water ingress common to all other aluminum masts. The highly engineered extrusion is lighter than most solid carbon offerings, and results in a mast that is only 1lb/0.5kg heavier than Cedrus hollow carbon masts. Anodized fade-free gold and with light laser-etched graphics, the mast requires minimal care and maintenance. Available in two distinct models, Evolution Aluminum fills a large gap between Wind and Surf to address new forms of foiling and performance attributes.

Haptic Feedback: We have found through months of testing that certain foils can produce acoustic and haptic feedback when paired with Evolution Aluminum. Due to the thin walls, high stiffness, and hollow channel that does not fill with water, the mast can whistle or hum at specific frequencies with certain foils. We have learned to appreciate this feedback, as it is due to vibrating foils and can be mitigated by changing ride height, angle to weather, speed, or wing loading. The feedback does not impact performance, but feel free to contact us with any concerns.

We will do our best to keep adapter inventory levels adequate for the increased volumes due to this new mast, but please understand it is extremely difficult to predict the popularity of specific foil adapters in this dynamic industry.
