PRONOUNCED BOO-LAH

The Bula was designed by Dave Kalama with one idea in mind: to have as much fun on the water as possible. Paralleling its Fijian translation, “wishing you happiness and good health”, the Bula was created to be more than just a paddleboard, but rather to be your go to platform for on the water adventure. Built using extremely durable thermoforming technology, this board combines toughness with a lightweight foam core resulting in a durable yet lightweight board. The Bula is loaded with features allowing you to escape and head off into your own idea of happiness. Whether it’s out on the ocean, a lake, canal, or any other body of water, the Bula will allow you to expand your idea of fun.

A full deck pad covering nose to tail makes the Bula extra comfortable for paddling with your child or furry friends, or when moving through your favorite yoga poses. Catching a few waves on this board is lots of fun too. The Bula is not simply a perfect first board or second board to be shared with family or friends, it’s one board that can truly do it all.

AN ENIGMA

The Crossover was created with the goal of adding a bit more glide without sacrificing the feel of a traditional stand up paddleboard. This hybrid shape has the ability to catch waves, glide on calm waters, and cover distance efficiently. Added features on the bottom of the board start with a small V on the nose transitioning to concave in the middle and back to a small V at the tail creating a stable, gliding board that is great for all levels of paddlers and any body of water. The Crossover is a great choice for those looking for a balance of fun and efficiency.

The all new Autopilot is designed to excel in a wider range of foil boarding styles and conditions. The higher volume of the Autopilot makes paddling a simple task when surfing, while the concave deck shape keeps your feet as close to the hydrofoil as possible. It’s unique convex bottom shape displaces water while paddling, providing less wetted surface the faster you paddle.

The Autopilot’s round kick tail design does two important things: It allows you to make a smooth flowing turn close to the water without catching on hard corners. The angle of the kick tail helps to pop the board into flying position and it keeps the tail from touching the water when pumping.

The Autopilot's industry standard 9cm mast mounting track pattern works perfectly with the all new Cab Fusion performance line of hydrofoils.

INTERMEDIATES AND SCHOOLS !

Balancing lightness and control, the number of battens and their position is adjusted individually to each sail size and to the range of use. The smaller sails come with only one full batten to keep the weight low, to catch light winds easily and to deliver power smoothly. The bigger the sail the more battens it has in order to increase control. The biggest sizes come with four full and two short battens for a more stable profile and also have a moderately loose leech which allows the sail to perform also when the wind picks up a bit.

The Vision rig is efficient and durable with a full-Dacron® cloth with PVC window which is light, strong, UV resistant and very durable for everyday use. Thus, it qualifies for the toughest test – the use in windsurfing centres! The soft sail material provides great feedback for beginners and is very forgiving at the same time. Kids can easily hold the reduced diameter boom and the 2-colour grip helps to differentiate between port and starboard tack.

The set contains a sail, a reduced diameter boom with uphaul, a 2 piece mast and mast foot. The whole rig comes in a neat bag for easy storage and transport.

PRE-LAMINATION

Our Triple Layer Composite and our Double Layer constructions both include the specially developed process of pre-lamination. This high tech process consists of machine-lamination of the multiple layers into a shell that has accurate thickness as well as superior abrasion and stretch properties. Compared to normal double layer boards we have been able to remove the manual glue application from the process and with it the room for error, the excess weight of the glue and the additional health hazards for our workers.

The fiber reinforced layers create super strong and durable boards with a minimal amount of stretch.

A narrower nose allows for minimal push of the water in the front, resulting in a faster glide with each paddle stroke. The parallel outline ensures great traction and less paddle-hand changes.
