Regular price $2,399.00 Save $-2,399.00COMPACT ALL-IN-ONE
The compact versions of JP’s bestsellers have the potential to fulfill every windsurfer’s dreams as they unite the virtues of a classic medium to high wind all-rounder with the advantages of the compact, versatile design. JP’s fastest, liveliest and most manoeuvrable all-water toys. They accelerate in the flats, fly over chop and carve into wave faces. No matter the conditions, you’ll simply have the best time on the water – easy!
It has been said before and has to be pointed out again: The Freestyle Wave concept is the ideal option for 99% of coastal-sailing recreational windsurfers. If you are not sure which board line would suit you best, then you don’t need to look any further. The Freestyle wave offers so many tuning options that it can be set up perfectly for any given day, no matter what the conditions. It’s an ideal all-round high wind board for both, blasting and bump&jump sailing. It also shines as a powerful, all-round wave board for lighter winds, heavier sailors or difficult conditions and then is great fun especially for huge jumps and fast carves in side to side onshore conditions.
The direct feel derives from the reduced swing weight of the short, compact shape. The outline is parallel in the mid-section which offers a long straight area for early planing and stability. The tail is relatively narrow to maintain control on fast runs over choppy water. The FSW is agile, quick to respond and its rails bite hard into small waves without getting stuck.
The domed deck grants a comfortable stance for all foot strap positions. The deck shape also provides perfect board control and excellent responsiveness.
Ready for foil action! All LXT sizes come with JP’s reinforced Foil-Powerbox – even the small FSW 79 which probably makes it the smallest board for foiling on the market. This box widens the total wind range and opens the option for this new discipline of ‘flying’.
Offering all the traditional Freestyle Wave virtues in a new compact package that is more agile and even more fun on the water. They are fast, super comfortable and give you the confidence to push to the board’s limits. Suited for freestyle, small waves and bump and jump blasting, they love to carve fast, drawn-out turns in all waters, flatwater, chop and waves. They cover it all and are simply the best JP Freestyle Waves – ever!

FOIL FLYING
JP was one of the first leading windsurf brands to introduce specialised boards for foiling. Now we offer a line of three dedicated foil boards in two different technologies. Popular since their introduction, the shapes are perfect for all levels of foil windsurfers from first timers to performance oriented foil riders. The 120, 135 and 150 remain unchanged and represent a balanced mix of fast, performance-oriented boards which are easily accessible with user-friendly all-round appeal.
Shape Details
The steady nose rocker combined with a soft tuck line and bevels in the front make for a smooth and forgiving entry once the nose comes down on the water. This is essential, as many beginners tend to nosedive. The noses don’t dig into the water but will bounce back off the water and you will keep flying.
The V-angled nose bevels clear the rail from touching the water when pushing down the windward rail – especially when sailing upwind. This way, the board can be tilted and more power applied to the foil for more acceleration and speed.
The flat deck shape and the ideally positioned footstraps make for an upright stance to control the power of the foil.
Volume and width help to lift the boards out of the water early.
The tail cut-outs reduce the volume in the tail. These cut outs also make it easier to get flying earlier by being able to push the wide tail down easily and ‘pump the foil’ during take-off.
120:
Very short, lively and exciting, it is the right tool to explore new boundaries of this sport. They are designed for higher winds, small sails and advanced riders. No limitations: Free your mind, be innovative, these shapes will take you there. Compared to the big boards, the compact board with narrow outline offers a more centred stance and a very responsive fun feel!
135:
The second generation of the shape that started it all: it features all the latest foil shape features of its brothers, like the very pronounced V and V-angled bevels in the nose area, make foiling easy and more accessible for everyone. The cut-outs are designed to pump the board instantly onto the foil and fly. The tail is wide and the straps far outboard for more control and power over the foil. This size is well-known for being all-round, almost universal, as it covers a very wide wind and range as well as it suits most rider weights and levels.
150:
Originally designed for the first PWA foil races, today the 150 can be seen as most efficient and very fast lightwind foil board. It suits heavy weights and everybody who needs to use very big sails. Compared to the latest super-wide race developments, it can be pumped onto the foil with less effort and has more freeride appeal as it is way easier to sail – especially across the wind. The additional set of inboard straps aids control when flying over chop on deep downwind courses.
All of the HydroFoil shapes take into consideration the different riding position compared to windsurfing with a fin and also the aerodynamic behaviour of the boards. They are adjusted to make flying over water easy, accessible, fast and fun for everyone.
And the key to this is the perfect balance, stability and great leverage towards the foil.
For the leverage, the compact designs feature a wide tail and parallel outline which helps you to control, balance and work the lift of the foil. The shortness keeps the swing weights to a minimum.
The thin profile limits the drag once airborne and creates as little resistance as possible, which is very important when you are flying because strong gusts don’t affect the stability. Your flight will be very stable and balanced.
All HydroFoil boards come with a special, reinforced Tuttle-Foilbox.
Performance and balance and power. At the same time easy to fly and good fun to use!

IMPROVED MAGIC
Since its dawn this line is a magic blend of ease, stability and good performance. While the originals focused on ease, the second generation turned out livelier and agile. The shape adjustments of the current, 3rd generation feature significantly improved control at speed and in chop.
Consequently, these boards ride smoother and gybe more willingly and easily into and through turns. On the water the boards surprise with a sporty and energetic character which is incredibly easy to handle. The magic of these boards pushes the performance and fun factor to the next level.
Jules Denel: “The Magic Ride is so easy to sail and gybe, it’s the perfect cruising board!”
Shape Details
You will be stunned by the light and easy handling when blasting along.
- Still based on a thin and wide platform with adjusted proportions.
- Slightly narrower at the centre and longer -> the stretched-out waterline makes early planing easier and lifts the board effortlessly onto the plane. It provides the rider more directional stability at speed and more upwind power
- Even volume distribution keeps the centre of gravity close to the mast base
- Wide nose makes it a more stable platform when non-planing.
- Wide tail outline -> offers great release, reduces drag and improves high wind control.
- Increased V-flow underneath for a more comfortable ride, improved gybing and an exciting lively feel
- Smooth deck shape guarantees a comfortable stance in every foot strap option
- Easy entering into the straps
- Good leverage to load up the fin
The true freerider: What is astonishing about this board line is its ease and smoothness. You’ll step on it and everything will happen naturally and predictably. The feel is “familiar” – like putting on an old pair of shoes: It just fits! Relaxed and confident you’ll achieve more speed now than on ordinary freeride boards before. Despite these easy-riding characteristics, performance and agility are not compromised. The hull feels quick, lively and responsive. Planing readily, it provides traction which inspires you to push your fun and adrenaline and lets the board fly on its fin – in control!
Master of the turn: It feels effortless and refined even in challenging sea states. Still featuring the respected “autopilot qualities”, the MR requires little input from the rider and its forgiveness will pamper the intermediate rider and up his success rate of gybes.
At the same time its rail bite will encourage the more advanced rider to push harder and corner with full dedication: Tighter and tighter turns, classic freestyle like duck gybes and carving 360s will be the name of the game. It’s never been easier to enter the turn at speed, plane through or to learn and to master any kind of gybe.
Magic Ride 159: Longer than the other sizes, it is stable and accessible and thus the perfect board for anyone stepping down from a beginner board with daggerboard. It is specially tuned for easy, early planing! Experiencing the planing sensation and getting hooked on the feeling happens naturally.
A new epitome of freeriding: A state of the art synergy between easy handling and performance. This manoeuvre-oriented freeride board upped its overall ease and performance in all conditions. The ease, smoothness, forgiveness and control enable new performance levels and improve everyone’s riding fun.
If it’s about freeriding, then here is the MAGIC!

Control and top speed – that’s what it is all about when you want to be on the podium. The 62, 71 and 85 are designed for blasting at PWA competition speed. Also, lighter riders remain in control even when fully overpowered enabling them to get up to top speed. The smallest 55 has proven its qualities on speed slalom tracks like the Defi Wind.
Five core design elements guarantee the perfect setup for PWA racing:
DUAL TAIL OUTLINES – individually adjusted to each board size. The bottom outline features a new cut-out configuration reducing the wetted surface and creating multiple release points for low drag and high speed. The deck outline over the cut-outs is wider and due to the further outboard rear strap position, the rider can load more power onto the fin for more control and speed.
TRANSFORMING VEE FLOW along the bottom – the Vee is strongly pronounced in front of the mast base, decreasing between the foot straps and opening again towards the tail. Thus, the board rides high and loose, ironing out all the chop. The transforming V results in a curvy rail line which makes gybing smoother and helps to exit the turn at full speed.
COMPACT CONCEPT – The parallel outline in the mid-section of the board maximizes the planing surface at the mast base, lifting the boards onto the plane instantly.
THIN PROFILE – in the nose area reduces drag since this is the part which is affected most by the wind. This in combination with a sunken deck means we managed to keep the swing weight centred for great top-end control.
DECK SHAPES – are designed to produce maximum pressure and feel totally connected and in control. The concave deck reduces the swing weight and lowers the rig position for improved control.
The 85 produces a lot of racing power meaning early planing, fast acceleration and controlled gybing, as it carries all the speed through the turn and exits without slowing down.
It features an interesting tail cut-out configuration: The first cut-out starts much further forward and the curve of the cut-outs increases towards the tail. The tail is re-designed for a more even water flow around the fin in order to provide steady fin pressure for permanent power and top speed. The thick tail with the light V provides the lift and power in light winds. The V in the front adds curve to the rail line and prevents the nose from catching in straight lines and gybes.
The 55 (also a great board for the Defi Wind) and 62 come with the normal Tuttlebox. The 71 and 85 feature the specially reinforced JP Foil-Tuttlebox.
Speed across the wind!

SPORTY FREERIDE
The compact designs of the first generation left an inspiring impression and its footprint on the market with lots of very happy customers. Now, the 2nd generation of the three bigger models is here rising the performance level in every aspect: They are fast, easy, sporty and true gybing machines!
The 3 new shapes are slightly longer to get going easily – especially for passive early planing.
The overall width enlarges the planing surface and improves stability.
The outline towards the tail runs more parallel, providing a bigger planing surface in the tail area and an outline curve which makes all kind of gybes easier. Staying on the plan throughout the gybe comes naturally. Be it high speed carves or super tight turns – every rider will push his limits and nail more gybes than ever before.
Due to the bigger planing surface due to the increased width and length, it was -in return- possible to thin out the rails throughout. The rail shape provides optimal grip once the rail is set. Together with the ergonomic deck shape, the rail also makes for a super comfortable stance – in every strap position. And no matter if you chose the inboard or outboard option, it is always easy to get into the footstraps.
The scoop rocker line an V flow come from our Slalom board range. The new Super Ride have a high, loose water position and give you the confidence of stability when speeding over chop.
Positioned right in the centre of the popular freeride class, all Super Rides are simply great all-round boards for every rider! With these new shapes it’s easy to reach incredible speeds even when not fully powered and have no limits when the conditions get rough. And the new, big models are now both – a bit easier and a bit more sporty.

The Flatwater Race boards feature a dugout standing area for maximum stability. This has allowed us to go as narrow as 21.5”. The volume of the sidewalls will bounce you back in balance even if you are challenged by some chop. The high walls in the front will direct the water from entering and the two pairs of drainpipes will clear the standing area of any water that might have gotten in. The smooth transition from deep standing area to the thick tail ensures easy movement towards the tail for pivot turning. The narrow nose transforms smoothly into a single concave bottom extending all the way to the tail. This creates a long water line resulting in great linear glide and directional stability.
All the 2022 Race PRO boards feature a full PVC sandwich deck and rails for maximum in durability and light weight and a second pair of drainpipes.

DETAILS
FOIL MOUNT & POSITIONS
The strong construction is built to last and can take all the forces that foils put on a board.
The plate mount and Tuttle box fitting cover all needs and rider preferences. Being able to adjust not only the mast track, but the Foil as well, allows the rider to tune this board exactly to their own specific foiling style – and the scale helps you to find the right position for the foil, every time.
STRAP POSITIONS
The centre foot strap option with the huge adjustment range is an essential key feature and the base for control over both rails. This grants a safe feel and quick progress for newcomers to foiling as they will stay balanced easily and prevents entry level riders from losing stability in the air.
For experienced sailors the centred straps mean absolute freedom to get creative: The toy of joy offers everything for the advanced rider who wants to push his limits and take his freestyle know-how into the new world of foiling.
The manoeuvre-oriented rider will enjoy flying down smooth swell faces, or even taking it into the waves for some long, effortless flights.
The FreeFoils also come with the common outboard 4 strap setup for regular foiling. They track extremely well up and down wind and allow for a fast and efficient flight mode – ideal for all freeriders who want to use powerful foils and to sail fast.
SHAPE
The board is slightly longer than comparable boards from other brands because our tests showed, that with this added length, you gain noticeably more control, ease of use and effortless take-off while you only lose a tiny bit of liveliness. This is a clear advantage not only for novices but also for the average and advanced rider who will benefit from the added comfort and ease of use. Everybody who prefers or needs to ride bigger sails will specially like the more balanced feel of the longer hull.
The comfortable deck shape is also very user friendly for the strapless riders out there. It offers the most responsive feel, while at the same time being as forgiving as it can get.
Being narrow enough, they allow for easy foot movement during gybes as well as transitions from rail to rail.
The voluminous rails in combination with a small bevel provide lift on occasional touch-downs for a smooth and a forgiving glide.
TRIM
The insert options allow you to trim the mast base and foil closer together and quite far forward. This opens a totally new window for the advanced rider as the board gets livelier and more direct for immediate response. So, this option is especially interesting for the freestyle and wave community.
WING FOIL
For Wing Foiling, strap-less or with straps, mount the plate/wing of the foil all the way forward in the track boxes. The boards feature an elongated pad to the area where you stand when winging and for those who like to use straps, there are additional wing footstrap plugs
Ideal for all types of freeride foiling. Whether it be just cruising along, riding strapless, riding with foot straps, wave foiling, wing surfing, teaching people how to foil behind a boat, or even freestyle, this board can do it all, and does it all REALLY WELL !
Suitable for all conditions and levels.

STEADY STYLE
JP’s range of Freestyle boards undergoes a steady and consistent development process. Consequently, the boards are the latest, subtle evolutions of highly successful and event winning shapes. They balance the power required for early planing on freshwater with the control needed when the conditions get wavy and rough. They also provide the necessary speed for an impressive take-off from small chop and loads of power for a second or third pop for multiple rotations. Easy to handle and forgiving, these Freestyle boards thrive and perform on flat water and in waves alike.
Year after year, the four JP Freestyle boards stand out as state of the art. As the boards have such a wide range of use, shaper Werner Gnigler’s target was and is to improve characteristics only when sure not to compromise on any other range of use. After all, the boards have to perform at fun events on freshwater as well as in PWA and EFPT hard core freestyle events on the sea. In the end, the production boards always represent a great and ‘complete’ package, overall. The focus of the latest designs was on stability! The boards gained ease of use which helps to maintain speed for maximum pop – no matter if sailing regular or switch stance.
But they are more than just conventional freestyle boards. All sizes come with JP’s reinforced Foil-Powerbox and their compact and wide shapes make them ideal toys for foil riding! This widens the range of use of your “small” gear: Just mount a foil and fly – while other freestylers with their normal fins are stuck on the beach waiting for the wind to pick up. JP’s short Freestyle boards provide enough ease and stability to pick up this new segment of our sport quite easily. On the other hand you can push your limits and also pull-off your first crazy moves at the EFPT “foilstyle” events.
And although not specially designed and tuned for it, the shape dimensions also allow for the use of a wing.
Shape details:
The scoop rocker line in the mid-section of the board is flat for effortless and early planing.
The bottom shape has a pronounced V from the mast base forward which –in combination with the soft tuck line in this area of the board– makes it very forgiving. The ride is smooth and relaxed, even when sailing switch in chop and you don’t lose speed when going for double moves. These features also prevent the rail from catching during sliding moves.
The tail features sufficient width and area for efficient pop in light winds. At the same time, the tail is not too big for explosive pop when the wind picks up.
The noticeable curve in the outline and centered volume distribution brings the swing weight close to the mast base. Rotations happen a lot quicker and moves become more radical.
Towards the tail we run a defined tuck line in combination with a rather flat V bottom shape. These features create instant power, fantastic grip and a loose ride.
The fin is big enough to support all powerful moves and faster action.
The JP Freestyle boards accelerate superbly for powerful jumps. Their short, compact shapes enhance the handling in all moves and speed up all rotations. The lively and direct feel builds confidence so that amateurs and pros alike will pull-off more moves in greater style. And the Foil-Powerbox widens the range of use.

BEST IN ALLROUND WAVE CLASS
What an outstanding first year this new flagship of JP’s wave line experienced! It saw excellent test reports worldwide and – even more importantly – the word of mouth from impressed owners made it an extremely successful start for the Magic Wave. And the demand of this board does not show any signs of slowing down now that it heads into season two. This fresh all-round wave concept combines and beats the best characteristics of our previous, all-time favourite wave designs. The Magic Wave draws from the speed of the Thruster Quad, versatility of the Wave Slates, ease of sailing of the Real World Waves. It also offers incredible speed and confidence on the wave, matching the performance of the Ultimate wave in most conditions, even in waves up to and over mast high.
Extremely quick to get planing and reach top speed, the Magic Wave pops over white water effortlessly and jumps extremely high. It offers both front and back foot wave riding possibilities, gaining speed and control from the advanced rocker shape, beautiful rails and wide, thin, ultra-high performance swallow tail.
Confidence, speed, comfort and grip on the wave all combine into a board that feels carvy and loose on the wave face, while still offering the essential speed needed for more onshore conditions.
Finally an all-round board which excels in mediocre conditions but does not compromise on wave performance. JP’s most exciting introduction to the wave board market for many years.
The concept of a wider swallow tail board with an equally wide nose gave us a stable base for the new board. We worked tirelessly developing a new rocker for this board that is extremely fast without being too stiff on the wave. The very fast, early planing Wave Slate and the multiple award winning Freestyle Wave were good benchmarks. The new Magic Wave equals or betters the Wave Slate in early planing, low end, top speed, versatility and looseness on the wave. And its planing performance comes close that of the Freestyle Wave.
Shaper Werner Gnigler followed a new path by disconnecting the centre scoop rocker line from the rail line. So, the traditionally known rocker along the centre does not exist anymore in the tail area. Werner combined V and concaves along the bottom which created a curvy rail line and resulted in the magic combination of fast, early planing boards with outstanding manoeuvrability.
The more parallel rail outline that we gain from the wider nose and tail really helps with early planing and keeping speed through white water. It also is easier to keep as much speed as possible through the bottom turn in onshore conditions and side-shore alike. You can use a smaller sail and feel less overpowered with this new design which makes wave riding and jumping feel much more comfortable and controllable.
Jumping is easy on this board because the wide nose and tail give more lift when hitting the wave, so you automatically jump a little bit higher. When you come down to land forward and backwards rotating moves, you have more board under your feet and at the nose which makes for a more forgiving landing.
New carbon fins: The boards come with a set of new thruster fins featuring a more traditional outline and more area especially in the tip. Thus, planing and maintaining speed is easier. They are more forgiving in manoeuvres and smoothen the ride.
The thruster fin setup grants the widest possible range of wave use and the 5-fin box setup enables tuning to personal preferences, giving the boards greater range of use from onshore to down-the-line conditions. Plugs are provided to cover the boxes when not used.
JP’s greatest all-round wave design yet performs at its best in onshore jumping and wave riding. The Magic Wave jumps higher and rides small to medium sized waves better than the Ultimate Wave but it doesn’t stop there. It holds its own in far bigger waves than you would expect, meaning that you can really choose 1 board for 90% of conditions and will almost never be under-gunned in big surf or lacking performance in small surf. Get out and try yourself.
Feel the MAGIC !
